I meant to say the end of March earlier.  Seems like forever.

Hopefully so.  It has been way too long for this "mom" - he is like a son to us, has been since he was a baby, so I feel like his mom.

I heard from my sailor on Mom's Day as well - but he just had a few minutes to talk and we were cut off, so hopefully we'll hear more whenever they're in port next.

We haven't heard anything since the end of April.  Not sure why but hopefully we will hear something soon.

Has anyone heard from their sailor lately?  It's been awhile for me, so just checking....

wendy80- welcome aboard:) hopefully this will be another good way to keep in touch and updated too.

rominpa- i know how you feel! as a wife it may be some different but mostly the same, sometimes its hard to know how to encourage them. but just being a constant support means so much, and i think the right words will come along with that. each sailor has their own struggles, so you will probably know best what he needs. it means a lot that you care im sure!

Thanks for the advice!  I've sent one care package to him already and preparing another one to send soon.  I like the card idea too!  Thanks again!

Hi everyone - last time I talked to my son he sounded a little discouraged.  Any words of wisdom you can share with me so I can relay to him?  I'm sure this is just normal but it worries Mom :)
