Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ask for the Military kit ~[boxes] ~or military pack~[envelopes] You receive 6 boxes Tape, packaging materials and labels You should get these in 7-10 days. They will ask if you have someone *deployed* that's it!!! And its all FREE!!!! register once and get a customer ID# for reordering...

Are you kidding me the first steps..Heather told me Carson just took his first steps too...Think...OMG...what a year brings!
Rae ....congrats to you and Richie..I truly wish you all the health and happiness that this world has to offer and if the newest little can just wait a "wew' bit..maybe daddy can be HOME...LOL

Crawling...geez...walking is NEXT on Carson's list!! I do know that Autumn's little girls is due VERY soon, waiting on that news!!! the 17th I believe....geez that's next week..so any moment now...another RMD baby..
Karen hope you are well....I won't see Shawn until after deployment and when that is, I don't know...But I hope that Carson and Heather will come and visit, the 2 of them help A LOT....Heather you hear that....MIss you guys A LOT...and If I can't see my boy....Heather and Carson help SO MUCH...so please COME..LOL

We're fine thanks but that was some pretty big storms we had last week. The most rain we've had in years. We definitely need it here though. Of course, theres always accidents but surprisingly enough not as many as normal and the traffic on our freeways wasn't bad either during the storms..

How are you doing out your way? How is all your family doing?

Hope all is well with everybody!

Waiting for all the stormy weather to pass from this week and looking forward to a sunny weekend...or at least a partly sunny one. :-)
