Hello ladies! my sailor just got his orders to be at Whidbey Island by april22. I'm very excited but also very nervous! Our plan is for me to follow close behind (hopefully i will have a rock in a few weeks!!!) My sailor is fresh out of A school and this is his first duty station so i'm afraid we will both be in the dark =( We are both from the east coast (NY, PA) but we met in Texas. I hear Washington is very different. I'd love to learn more about it! Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

I'm thinking about moving out to Whidbey Island in August with my boyfriend of over a year. He recently received orders for Whidbey Island for two years. He's currently deployed abroad. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
My husband and I are moving to Whidbey Island in 3 weeks. We are not living on base. We've been researching some apratments/condos, but are worried about the areas. If anyone has any advice on decent/safe areas it would be appreciated. We plan on looking more when we arrive there, but we would also like to have an idea in mind of where to look.

Thanks, NavyWifeEGS

Hi everyone! I am a Navy girlfriend and very happy to find this great group. My boyfriend is aboard the USS Stennis and works from the NAS on Whidbey Island. I would love to connect and make some friendship as I experience my first deployment.
