Still looking for anyone in the Stockton/Sacramento area who would like to volunteer their home for a Fall M&G. I would be a co-hostess and stay to help you clean up. Also we can do Potluck style. I live in the foothills so my home is not centrally located. Restaurants are ok, but homes are more to my liking. Saturdays are best for me, but can do a Sunday if I don't have any church work. Please let me know.

BTW, I have more info on setting up meet and greets. Noe did a great job setting up hers. See above discussion.

Dutch format at a restaurant is perfectly fine. It's really nice to have the meet and greet at a home but not everyone has the space and some are not up to entertaining (even close Navy 4 Moms friends). I have been to one at Rock Bottom Cafe - a bit on the noisy side but it would work. I have also had 28 (?) at my house last year. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun too. We have no rules. Anything the majority wants should be OK.

Would any other date be good for you and Jimmie? September is pretty open. Saturdays are best for me, but I can do a Sunday if I don't have any church work. Maybe Potluck style on your house? We can provide the main dish and drinks and ask others to bring side dishes and desserts.

Vickyrun & Trekkie,
How about taking the September 18 slot on the calendar - you know - the one Susan Kopp (Nevada Sierra) was going to do? Have it in Stockton. We have never had one in Stockton.

Should we plan another M&G soon? How about in Stockton? Trekkiedad, would you and your wife like to co-host it with me?
