Happy Easter everyone!!

I had a friend share a quick crockpot recipe with me. She calls it TX Chicken because it was shared with her from a friend in Texas.

I don't know how many chicken breasts she used, possibly 5 - 6. She did say they were frozen and put them on high for about 3 hours and then on low for the rest of the day. (for those of us that forget to put our meat in the refrigerator to thaw.) - This isn't my recommendation but what she told me she had done.

The recipe:

Chicken Breasts

2 sticks of butter, 1 brick (8 oz.) of Cream Cheese, about 2 Tbsp. of Ranch Dressing seasoning mix (or probably 1 packet).

Dump in crockpot, cook, I would stir after about 2 hours or so. I have not tried this yet, but it sounds yummy.  She made rice and steamed broccoli for sides along with a fresh produce salad. (She was excited to find fresh produce at her local grocers in the midst of much food shortage currently.)
