T-Mobile is the only cell service available in Cuba. It does OK

Hi everyone! I'm planning on visiting my boyfriend this summer and am getting really stressed about planning it all!!! How early do you have to get the hotel and how long can you stay? I tried "reserving" a hotel at the navy lodge on base to check the rates but it said there were no rooms available, and thats 6 months in advance :( My boyfriend is an MA and hasn't been in Cuba that long so he isn't all that familiar with how things work, regarding me coming down. I've filled out base access form already, is there anything else I should stress about getting done early. I would love to be down there for two weeks but I have a feeling I will only be able to stay for a week. Any feedback would be awesome! I feel so helpless thousands of miles away!

Which cell service is best to use at GTMO? We are trying to help our son set up cellular service with a local (on Base) provider.

I've checked Kayak and trip advisor and I can't get prices for flights because of trade relations. Is there something special I need to do?

I'm probably late in scheduling this but... ANY HELP/ADVICE would be greatly appreciated! We are a family of 4 going to see our sailor at GTMO for spring break (March). We all have passports but what else do we need to do?

Going to GTMO is safe and relatively easy if you have a sponsor there. Anyone can email me with questions,

My husband and I just got back from a week long stay in GTMO. It was great! I recommend anybody who has the chance to go GO!

Your sponsor has to get plane tickets and hotel room booked first. Then fill out and submit an entry clearance form for everyone coming to island and get it checked off by everyone.
