For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I do know one of his friends, but I don't have him added on Facebook, I guess maybe I can try talking to him, even though I don't know how often he checks his being that my bf barely goes on his -__- lol. Where in his pipeline is your nuke? I haven't seen mine since his leave in December.

I'll tell you that the drives to SC arent really that bad esp if you are coming from Gainsville. (I see my Sailor about once every 2 weeks) I don't know when you plan on visiting but maybe you could write him snail mail? I dont know much about requesting thing goes because I have never had to do that. Do you know a roommate or maybe someone he knows in SC that has a facebook?

Comment by Dayami on February 6, 2011 at 10:14pm: Hello! I am going to spend a few days in Charleston with a friend, and really wanted to use the opportunity to visit my Sailor. The only problem is, his phone hasn't been working and there's a good chance it still won't be the weekend I get there. I was wondering if there was any other way to get in contact with him? He's currently on T-Track, and I know the schedules are hectic. I haven't had much chance to speak to him cause of his watch shifts and cell not working, but I would hate to go up there and not be able to see him even if it is just for an hour or even less. Am I allowed to request him somehow? (during his free time of course, I'm not trying to do anything while he's working, and I'm almost certain the weekend I'm going he has off.) Or do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I first met and got together with my Sailor (boyfriend) when we were 13 and after going our separate ways, we've been back together for the last 2 months. He is also 21 and an EM currently in T-Track in South Carolina. I'm from Miami, Florida and going to school in Gainesville for Nursing but I'm back home for this semester to work. Looking forward to getting to know all of you! :)

Comment by amanda on January 21, 2011 at 3:30pm: Christina- Typing this as my fiance speaks- can't be gold, only black, silver or leather color band. As long as it's mostly black and silver, everything is ok. So it can have blue numbers or something. Hope this helps.

I just want to make sure that the watch I am getting hes allowed to wear in school too
