OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Hi all - Happy Friday!  Today is C's 30th birthday.  They would have have been flying to Hawaii today to celebrate their honeymoon, graduating from MSU and her birthday.  Unfortunately that trip didn't happen......On a positive note she started grad school this week and they are completely moved in to their new house.  Now if we can just figure out when we can visit them in MI!

C just facetimed me - the fence is going in - I guess it's a little more work than the installers thought - lots of clay in the ground. And even some snow lol!  And the fridge showed up and surprise, surprise they also had the dryer on the truck!  So all their appliances are there now.  She was very happy and couldn't wait for B to get home to see everything.

B&C are pretty much all moved in. Getting their fence installed today and their refrigerator should also show up today.  Only thing left is the dryer and they don't have an ETA on that.  COVID put a hold on a lot of the appliances.

Shanny - they are definitely loving their new home!  They still don't have everything moved in but they are staying at the new place now.....hopefully they'll get it all moved in the next couple of weeks.  I can't wait until we are able to visit......
