RE the Dave Barry article I posted in Discussions above -
I was getting ready to ship all our belongings to Hawaii, trying to do it with a toddler in tow and my husband already in Oahu. I was going between home and our storage unit in the summer heat, trying to be oh-so-organized, labeling etc. I went to the U-Haul store to pick up more boxes and this Dave Barry article was on the counter. He has it right on the nose! I should've shoved everything in lawn 'n' leaf bags, lit a match to the rest and gotten on the plane ;)

I think you'll enjoy Tucson. My niece and nephew have both moved there in the past few years and really like it. Hopefully you'll be close to the U or in the foothills, that's where all the fun is ;) The U of A is a beautiful campus, too.

Good idea for a group! I've moved a lot over the years (cross country, even to Hawaii and back) and sharing tips is a great idea. Whitney, where will you be moving to?
