For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Mine made it home from San Antonio even though the snow tried to hold him up in Chicago. Haven't seen him yet, the "buddies" already booked him solid. Go figure.

My son made it home safely last night. Actually the flight was 8 min early which was surprising. I was very excited to see him.

My son made it home safely from San Antonio with a slight layover in Detroit which was delayed due to ice on the wings. I am so happy that he is home for Christmas. Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Holiday.

My sailor will not be home for Christmas, but he will have liberty in a few weeks. My daughter who lives in New Orleans, will be home today for ten days! I thought things were difficult when they were younger ....oh how wrong I was; its definitely harder having them grown up and far away. But, they are healthy, independent and make me proud so its not all that bad. ;-) Hope everyone is ready for the holidays to commence. Safe travels to all.

Finally received the KEEL. It was everything that you all said it would be. I laughed and cried through the whole thing. My sailor will be home tomorrow. I am so excited both my sailor and college student at the same time!

My sailor will make it home tonight. Can't wait to see him plus it will be his birthday tomorrow so we will have several celebrations while he is home. Merry Christmas to everyone! If you are traveling please be careful on the highways.

Keel arrived, we have 349 / 350. A nice keepsake for our sailors. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality .... didn't expect a hardcover book at all. Still don't know when my son will be coming home but not expecting him for Christmas. From San Antonio he goes to Mississippi for c- school before landing in San Diego. Hopefully he will be able to come home inbetween. Safe holiday travels to all of you and your families.

Hey everyone...hope everyone and their sailors are doing well! Got my keel and DVD the other day:) 12 more days and my sailor will be back in Wisconsin freezing his butt off!!! He is in Pensacola right now...
