Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Okay this "full" thing is new to me. Could somebody else that has not responded to Sarges M & G click on the link? I'm alerady on the event and am wondering if it is only doing it to those who are not. It opens up fine and the header tells me that I am not attending...but nothing about being full.

Yes, the Ramada should still be having their MeetNGreet tomorrow night. They do it each night before a PIR. 6-8 pm. Just show up!

New Service Uniform, nbrothers. It is the khaki shirt, black pants.
Invisible: Some of the SRs who didn't pass their PFA may have done it by now and maybe will go through tonight with other divisions. Let's hope so. If there is a BattleStations tomorrow night for the next group, they could actually go through then too...then be sitting in the bleachers for PIR too tired to march, but sailors. I'm hoping that your sailor sees some of his friends there who he thinks weren't going to be at PIR! This happens in almost every PIR group and most make it before PIR. They are in FIT DIVISION until they pass the PFA.

Well......I HAVE MYSELF A SAILOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank goodness the waiting is over. I couldn't take one more minute waiting. Unfortunately my son told me that quite a few recruits did not pass their final PFA and are not graduating. That's very sad.
nbrothers - ROOT CANAL ????? OMG. Well, look at the bright side - it might've happened while you were in the Great Lakes. That would really have been bad.
That's really strange about the Meet & Greets. But I'll be at Sarge's and I can't wait to meet you all tomorrow night. It's going to be awesome.
