Hello all, glad to hear that most if not all of our Sailors are progressing well! My Sailor is also going over to Japan in a few months. He starts C School in JAX in a few weeks and then off to Japan, then Guam! I am so happy for him but a nervous, emotional disaster for me! Oh and he is all tattooed up now......wrong move, but mom knows nothing!! I wish everyone well and be safe.

@ alismz you are so right i was wondering why they wasn't more pictures of our Sailors. Ok here is a update on my Sailor he will be going to Japan in a few months  so proud of him.

Comment by alismz on July 9, 2012 at 12:27am

hey capt'n- great to hear the update!!! funny you mentioned the tatoo...our daughter asked my opinion yesterdays phone call...wanted to renew her faith and get a tatoo as reminder...wouldn't it be easier to buy a t-shirt??? hah!

dawny64- Keel was great!!!! (other than graduation showing dress whites, making it an obvious mass production)

A quick update... My daughter is passing all of her courses in A school. She'll be an IT soon enough. In any case, she's having the time of her life... no tatoos yet.. THANK GOD.

So much so that I think I want to be a sailor when I grow up.  In fact, I got to be a sailor again not too long ago.  My company sent me to China. It was a hoot. I blogged about it here

oh girlies, did my heart good to hear some updates...just spent mother's day weekend with my Sailor and oldest daughter in P-cola....trying to be a big girl after saying goodbye but i'm fighting off tears again... Navylodge view and location was a dream! Hung out all weekend but pressure to study for classes and test sure caused an overshadowing cloud!
