Once you come out of O'Hare you get right onto 294 and it will take you right there, I will have to get the exit for you from my husband, you are only around 20 minutes to 1/2 hour to Great Lakes. Are you going to a meet and greet?

Hey Roddy'sMom, how are you, ask any question and I will answer anything you need. My son is now a E3 and has moved off of base, he is so happy. Once you reach E4 you have to move off of base so he moved with a friend and it loving it.

They have numbers where to sit. We sat close to the top of the bleachers, we stood most of the time but I got great pictures. Tanao it is so hard to find your sailor with the hats and scarfs across they faces. My son has red hair but with it all cut off I could not find him at first.LOL You will enjoy really. Any questions about the area just ask, I leave an hour from Great Lakes. DRESS WARM! When you start to hug your son don't let go. LOL I cannot wait to see some of your pictures.

Hi Will'smom, welcome! Well he does not have far to go if he is staying at Great Lake. Good for him, I hope he is doing well. My son has been in the Navy for a year on November 18, he is an ITSN and is stationed in Naple, Italy. He loves it. What will your son be doing on his job?

WOW, I come here all the time and usually no one is here. So good to hear from you.

Louann that is so wonderful, grandchildren are such a blessing.

Hi Kathy, I am so glad J is finally going to finish A school. And thanks for the update on Amanda that is so wonderful.
Proud Navy Dad, I just finished a project for the Nimitz, I send goody bags and Christmas cards to the IT group on that ship. A bunch of us moms joined together and everyone on that ship plus their strick force will all be getting a goody bad and card. We send over 6000 to these men and women it was a lot of fun, ask you son about it and let me know when he gets it.

Hi Marybeth and Mindy, it sounds like your sailors are doing great, I am glad. Good to hear from you.

Hi Navy Dad, it has been a long time, your sailor seems really busy. It is hard to believe they have been out of bc since January.
