I hope you get one too.  Last week our letters came on Friday and Saturday.  This week a letter came yesterday and we hope one comes for her dad today, but from the way she talked in her letter she had very little time to write and mine was going to have to hold everybody for the week.  We'll see.

I have to add this though, seems to me that girlfriends and wives tend to get letters a LOT more frequently than us moms!!  What's up with that??  :-)

Quiet week, no letter for me, no call.  But his girlfriend got a letter.  So at least someone knows he's doing good.

I have gotten several letters.I did get a call the other day.My husband just got back from being out to sea.It has been kinda busy around here.It was great to hear her voice. She said she has made several friends. She did make me a list of all the foods she wants after her graduation.I wish my son would be able to go to her graduation but he will be out to sea.It would be awesome to have a picture of all 3 in their uniforms.

We received a few letters too.  So far there are three - to me, her brother and her aunt and today we think her dad must get his.  When we talked to her on the phone she said she sent letters for "everybody".  She sounds great!  Between the call and the letters we have a pretty good picture of her frame of mind.  Since she mentioned it to everyone in the letters and when we talked to her on the phone, the "8 count body builder" workouts must be pretty hard!!

Just found this site from another mom.  I just got a letter from my daughter.  But I am not home to read it.  My hands will be shaking and my tears will be flowing as I read what she has to say.

Yes we got a call last night too, and it was wonderful!  Same with TaysMom, my SR is very homesick and very determined.  When I told her she was almost halfway, she hadn't thought of that yet so she felt a little better.  Were there more like ProudwifeAD that had 30 minutes?  She could only talk for 15, and said it took her about 5 minutes to figure out how to get the calling card to work.  I'm wondering if and why the time varies?
