Hello, I am in Great Lakes hanging out in our hotel with my SA. When I get home I am going to add some additional information that I personally learned from PIR. I hope that others will add some too. The best part has been just being with my SA.

Life is Peachy, I just added the RTC link as a discussion. Maybe it will be more visible that way. It is a closed discussion, so that nothing else can be added. It's just for this important link.

Ladies,

I started this group to be a reference site for PIR information. I deleted everything, so that we could start fresh. You'll note that I also deleted comments that I wrote. If you have some information about PIR that you would like to add, please add it to the discussions above, which I set up to serve as "file folders" for different aspects related to PIR.

Any information that I find posted in the Comment Wall that isn't already mentioned in a discussion forum, I try to copy and paste into the appropriate discussion forum. Please look there.

I apologize if I inadvertently deleted information.

For some reason, I cannot deleted the first two comments that I added below. I have tried repeatedly, but they won't disappear.

What happened to all the comments?  There was a lot of useful input down here.

no you should not need the gate pass if you ride the shuttle. You need photo ID. There is a holding area for extra guests but I have never heard of someone not getting in if they had proper ID and knew who they were going to se (make sure they know the ship and division # as well)

You do need the gate pass though if you plan to drive them back on base after PIR

Thanks for the info. I have a question-if we are planning to take a shuttle to PIR, do we need a gate pass to walk into the gate? I assume there is some point where they will be checking our names off the list-is that at the front gate or the entrance to the building where the ceremony will be? And if we have "extra" guests who will be put on a waiting list, where will they have to wait?
