Thanks to the many moms and more that are here and ready to help when a sailor is in need! It is amazing to know that no matter where our sailors travel in the United States there is a mom there ready to rescue them with a hot meal, place to stay, or help to get back on the road!

To be added to the list send me (Susan mom to Niko) a friend request. Then you can send me a private message with your name, location and phone number. Then you are added to the list!

Time for a happy post - update on our Sailor Rescue List "adopted" baby!  As her proud Navy papa said, "This is what beautiful looks like."  What a sweet dad!

Hi guys, everything worked out OK, he got home and is set for his deployment.  Your offers of financial assistance are not needed but were passed along and she's so grateful for the show of support.  YOU ROCK!

Marcy - I don't have miles but if they have to take the loan, I'd be happy to contribute $50 towards paying it back.

Hi moms!  Our baby Abby's mom is hoping for some help; here's what she's posted:  "Does anyone have any airline miles they can give my husband to get home?? He is a DoD police officer in Bremerton Washington now but he is mobilizing to Africa on September 7th. He was doing a courtesy mobilization out of the NOSC there but it was disaproved because the NOSC here messed up his paperwork!!!! Now he needs a ticket home and the prices are too high for us right now. If you have miles can you consider him please?  He needs to leave there by Friday!!! Help!!"   He will be mobilizing out of his NOSC on the east coast now; he needs to get to Charlotte or Asheville, NC.  Navy Relief can provide a ticket, but it's a loan they have to pay back.

If they don't find anything, let me know the info and I can see what I can do. I'm in Edison Nj and would be willing to pick then up and bring them back. No need to be in the airport with little ones for that long!
