My son will be going to A School in San Antonio after his PIR on December 2nd.  Any information that I can pass on to him would be greatly appreciated.

Masters at arms have their A school in San Antonio also. Their is currently a small group of us working with Admiral Valentin and several others to ensure that our sailors are taken care of. My job is to act as a liason with our Moms on the Navy for Moms site. Hopefully we will start to get some moms of the A school sailors here in our group.

OK there has to be more Moms in San Antonio then us 4!  What's up?  By the way, I am having 3 Army men/women over to my house for Thanksgiving dinner since the Navy had nothing!  Someone should look into this as we need to support all the sailors in A school!

I looked into the "Adopt a Sailor" for Lackland AFB as well and they only do Air Force service members.

Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio does not have any type of "Adopt a Sailor" for Thanksgiving dinner.  However, the base does have a program for Army service members.  If you are interested, call 210-221-5481 and let them know.  You have to pass a security clearance and then they will give you info on having 2-4 service members join you and your family for Thanksgiving Dinner!
