OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son is in Great Lakes waiting on hold to start school. He graduated on 1/5. It was such a wonderful experience for my family! We are from Jonesborough, TN!

Our sailor is on his way home from duty on the Harry S. Truman over ... there.  Hallelujah!  He'll spend a couple weeks with us here in Columbia TN, then on to school and new orders.  He has just re enlisted for another 6 years, which will take him to 19, at which point he will extend to get his 20.

Anyone in middle TN want to meet for lunch and brag about our awesome sailors?
