Welcome aboard, Tamara!!!

Yes - I'd LOVE to be able to visit Bremerton as well.....maybe one day!

Thank you for the acceptance.  My son is an IC and he's been in Bremerton since March.  I live in Florida so it's difficult having him so far away.  I'm so jealous of everyone that gets to go and visit:(  I am so proud of him though and every time I speak to him, he's so happy and really enjoying what he's doing.  I'm so glad to have this group.  I couldn't have lived without my PIR group last year so I am looking forward to getting to know you all.

Thank you for the acceptance. I have 2 sons at Bremerton. Derek on USS Stennis an Ty on Sea Wolf. Just recently got back from an exciting 3 day visit, at Bremerton! Enjoyed every minute. Only wish I could have visited the Stennis. Maybe next time. So proud of them both!

We have arrived! My daughter reported to the Stennis on April 25th, 2014! She is getting settled in and doing her first watch duty today! So excited for her and this opportunity! We're from North Carolina, so she gets a lot of attention for talking like a girl from the South.  LOL None of her family has ever been to the state of Washington so Google has gotten a workout! I was most excited to have an opportunity to be so close to Forks, WA! I'm a Twihard!

Kathyf:  Thanks for posting your news!

We attended a family wedding in Othello, WA - and our Navy son was also able to drive over from Bremerton!  DOUBLE blessings that my husband walked our (his by previous marriage) daughter down the aisle AND our  (mine by previous marriage) Navy son was able to be there too!!
