So glad to hear that karinabeana611!  It's been pretty quiet on here, I was wondering if the Gold Crew was still out.

Congratulations to Winston, and to you too Lin!!  I have been away from N4M for a couple months because my company blocked the site.  I was so excited to be able to get back in today.  I decided to check because I saw some pictures on Facebook this morning of my son with Winston and some other friends and it made me miss this group.

I hope all of you have been well and are enjoying this holiday season.  I finally have my tree up and lit but not decorated yet and no presents purchased.  Have to work on that this weekend.

I got to meet his parents this summer! :) He came up to visit me for a week and they flew out from Montana and surprised both of us. :) It was so sweet. He hadn't seen them since the holidays, and well, it was my first time meeting them in person. I'd written to his mom a lot by emails, but never met them in person. It was so nice to meet them and he said that they really like me! :) We've been together for over a year now, and with a deployment thrown in there it really messes up the perception of time. In some ways it feels like it's been way longer, in other ways I feel like I've barely gotten to spend time with him. But, I feel so lucky that a sailor stole my heart. Times may not be ideal now, but I feel like I appreciate him even more when he's away and it makes me love him more and more.

It's always hard to say goodbye, and I'm sure it wasn't easy saying goodbye to Joey. I hope he comes home soon and comes home safe. :) Hope everything goes well for you! I'm happy for you that he was able to come home this weekend! :)

Hope everyone else is doing well! :) I have had some emails from my boyfriend (who is Gold Crew) so I know they're doing fine. If anyone needs a friend to talk to or anything let me know! :)

Great news!! So happy for all the wives to have their sailors home.  Curious if you knew and were able to meet the boat.

Yea Lin!!!  It's good to know that our emails are at least making it through and hopefully keeping their spirits up.
