For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

He was out and about in town.I'm assuming it was the phone. It wasn't a video call...just a telephone call but it was sure clear over our computer. He had spoken to his wife then she called us to let us know he was trying to get ahold of us...so we ran to the computer and accepted contact request. The bus was just picking them up to take them back to the ship and he said we might get cut off and we sure did quickly...had less than a minute with him but it sure put a smile on our faces!
Great, they have Skype on the ship or was it on your sons lap top?
It's been wonderful to have been able to "visit" occasionally with the sailor over Facebook...but got a Skype call from him today for a few seconds...he sure loves Spain and is having a great time! Hope your sailors are too!

Love your pictures..My son was maning the 50 cal. He just emailed me.He checked out the link to..I added you as a friend request..I wish I was there..he called and texted me..God I love seeing them man the Rails..Makes me cry with pride....God Speed on them coming home safe!!!

Rorysmom Thank you dear...My son's 24th birthday is Thursday 2nd..Groundhogs day!!this will be the 6th birthday I have missed..Ya can't get those back...So I guess ya have the make the most of everyday with them..I do..Have a safe trip home..God Speed
