CWT (cyber warfare tech) information

Hi all. I'm new to the group and I don't see any groups or forums that include the job my son is hoping for, CWT. I know it is a relatively new designation, within intelligence. 

My son is hoping to find out how other CWTs like the job and non-classified (obviously) information about what they do day-to-day. If you have a CWT connection in your family or can point me in the right direction on this website, thanks in advance!!

    Hi WordGirl - Yes, this is a new rating.  Here's some info I found on it (click on the link):

    Cyber Warfare Technician (CWT)

    Cyber Warfare Technician (CWT) is a new rating for enlisted personnel in the Navy that focuses on both offensive and defensive cyberspace operations.  The CWT rating was created to meet the requirements of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) OF 2022.  The CWT rating will initially draw from Information Warfare Officers and sailors serving in the Cryptologic Technician-Networks rating
