Watches in bootcamp?
I wanted to get my son a gift before boot camp. I keep reading that G shock watches are allowed in boot camp. If anyone knows from recently, if these are allowed and which type? I don't want to give that to him if it will get him in trouble. Any input would be great. Thanks!

Most watches are acceptable at the RTC, but most prefer black and water resistant. Many save the G Shock watch for after BC due to theft. Be sure to engrave any expensive watch so that it will be easily identified as his in case of theft. Yes, theft happens in BC and afterward. It is sad that some of those who should be the most honorable are anything but.
Be sure that he is used to wearing it before BC so that he will be less likely to send it back in “the box” when he packs it.
