Hello All,

Thanking for accepting me in your group page!! 

I am preparing myself and my mother in SURPRISING our sailor who will be returning from deployment at the end of October 2025.

I am looking through the Navy webpage as well as the Naval Air Station San Diego to find out the information needed to get on base and prepare best for this since my mother is a bit handicapped and traveling from Texas.

Any direction or information is greatly appreciated.

    AdySA210 - welcome!  Please make sure you do not post actual return dates - OPSEC! 

    Also, I don't know how easy it will be to "surprise" your sailor because I believe they have to put you on a list to get on base.....of course San Diego is a large area so you may be able to find a "public" location to watch the ship come in and then meet up with your sailor after the fact.....
