During Deployment

Hi there! Im new here. My son has been in the service for roughly 4 years. Its been over a year since ive seen him and due to where he is speaking to him is few and far between. What do yall do between speaking to him and how do handle the missing him?

My husband is going to visit him soon, but we have 2 other kids and our youngest has autism and Epilepsy so we are not going along. Its hard to not be angry and sad sometimes.

Just looking for coping tips!

He does message when he can. Thankfully. And we play a game online so that is at least something when he cant "talk". He called home the other day and I broke down in tears cause its been so long since I heard his voice. I know he calls when he has time. But being "deployed" and where hes stationed calling doesnt always work because of timing.

Karmalie - I am sorry that you are not able to visit your son. That is difficult and when you have other children who need your attention as well, it can be a struggle emotionally.
