My son used Ensure plus (weight gain or maintain) to help gain weight after a kidney injury. He would drink 2 of them a day. They have something like 340 calories per drink. These are not cheap Target had the best prices we found and the the only store brand that he would drink (we tried and returned several other store brands) He also drinks protein drinks for weight gain from the health food store.

Until recently I have always had a hard time keeping weight on. Protien shakes are good, mix one or two up a day in the blender. You can throw in a little peanut butter and a banana for a bigger calorie boost. Have these in addtion to her regular meals. Protien drinks today taste SO much better than the ones of days past that were all chalky and you had to choke down. These ones actually taste good! You can get a canistar at Walmart, Costco, GNC. Maybe she can do a little weight training as muscle weighs more than fat. Don't worry, even if she were to lift heavy, the average girl is NOT going to get bulky and muscular! It takes an intentional effort and supplements to get like that. But the truth is muscle weighs more, so therefore she will have a healthy weight gain, rather than just gaining fat.
