ATT School
Can someone tell me whom goes to ATT School? I though my son would go straight to Pensacola after bc. However, I had a mom tell me he would do ATT (tech school) in GL. We have never been told that. His rate is AV to be changed to AT or AE once down at Pensacola.

His field is AV and he will be assigned a rating of AT (AT-I or AT-O) or AE after completing the common basic electronics training.
They do have ATT, but it is in Pensacola.
You can look in Avionics Technicians (AV) Moms and Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) (there is a comment on the Comment wall now about classing up for ATT).

Advanced Technical Training. I think P-cola has one of its own down there. I know they used to do ATT in Great Lakes, but think it has moved for those sailors in aviation.

Thanks everyone. This is what we thought, but was thrown off by a message from someone today. Again, thanks for all the information. We are still trying to figure all this out. I HATE not knowing stuff, so we have read and read information and never have we seen that he would stay in GL. Thanks for the confirmation.
