B.A.S.E.S. or CO's top 6?

Does anyone have any information on either of these terms? My SR told her Dad to look them up, but I have not found much information on either. TIA

    CO usually is commanding officer.

The Page, What does ??? mean? (A Guide to Navy Abbreviations and Terminology), will help you with many of the new terms you will come across.  It includes B.A.S.E.S.

"CO's top 6" is a new term for me.

The CO's top 6 are the six very serious offenses that will get a recruit in trouble very quickly. They include sexual harassment, recruit to recruit contact, fraternization, racial discrimination,
hazing, and substance abuse. All recruits must learn these and they are reminded every day of them! And yes, CO does refer to commanding officer- so it's the Commanding Officer's Top 6. :)
