Hotels with shuttle service to graduation ceremony

Graduation usually starts at 9am I believe but most people start arriving at 6am or before if they are driving themselves. Due to the fact that seating is first come first serve and there is usually quite a bit of people . Also the holiday Inn hotel is located in Waukegan, Illinois and is about 15 min from the base. I work for Marriott, and know we have 3 hotels near GL that offer navy graduation rates and shuttle to PIR. (More just a little further, without the shuttle). Just ask for navy graduation rate when you call. (Pretty sure you still have to call for that rate - not available online.) I was a Marriott fan before I ever worked for the company, and like it more now! The springhill suites is the first to fill up, because they have rooms with 2 beds plus the pull-out couch, and breakfast included. Definitely book as soon as you know, because there are only so many rooms available at the discount. If you are booking the navy grad rate direct through marriott, there is no advance payment required, and it is cancellable until the day before. Sorry to sound like an ad! I have booked a lot of rooms for these and can't wait to get to stay there celebrating my sailor!
