My son arrived June 13. After BC he'll go to A school to train  as a Sea Bee.

By counting 9 Fridays, PIR will most likely be 08/11/2017 for those who shipped last week. It could be 08/04/2017 for some if they are in a Push Division and were placed in one of the last divisions from the week before. It is possible for some who arrive on the same date to have PIR a week apart. Wait on The Form Letter to know the PIR date for sure. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.

If you have not yet joined Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), now is a good time to do so (especially if you have a recruit at the RTC) and to begin checking out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) starting with OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (some of you have changes that you need to make--at least change 3; make change 4 if your profile pic includes your future Sailor or recruit) and then go on to Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.

I have left info on some of your My Pages about your recruit's (or future Sailor's) rating (job/occupational specialty) or field and "A" School. If anyone else needs this info, leave a comment on my My Page with the rating or field and I will comment back on your My Page. I have info on every rating and field. I also have that info for the PACT programs.

Everyone, Make it a habit to check your My Page because you may have comments from Members and not even know it if you have the notifications turned off for comments on your My Page. To reply to someone who leaves a comment on your My Page, click on "Comment Back" or "View Thread" below the comment. Also check in the upper left to see if you have Friend requests or any new messages in your Inbox.

My daughter also left on June 13 and will also be a Corpsman so A School in TX. :) 

I received his box today and he did not get to keep his cell phone like his recruiter told him he would. So glad I didn't listen and wrote down numbers and sent him with a phone card. They really shouldn't be telling the kids that.

My son left on June 15th.  Got the call that he arrived safely.  Miss my pumpkin so much!

Got my son's graduation date. He graduates August 4th. I know I shouldn't worry but I worry if he is sleeping and eating right and if he is emotionally ok. 

Mopermom, yes. He is 19 and I just worry he is taking it ok. I know he is strong but as a mom, it is hard not knowing for sure. This is the first time he is away from home longer than a week. I am here with you as well. 

Another day no mail.... it's all good bc I know it's either the 4th or the 11th. Just wish I could book hotels,airfare, rental car etc.    Either way I know I will meet some of you Mama's 

My daughter shipped on the 14th and I just got her letter!! Now I write....and write... and write...

My Daughter Left on the 12th, I got her call pretty early that evening and got her box on Friday. No sign of the form letter though :( starting to get a little anxious to hear something. Hoping soon!!
