Hi Mommamac, I am so happy to hear the news that you are  healed and ready to roll again!

We are currently working on the Oak Hil, should be finished next week.  Did you get my HAE update today by email?

I added in some new numbers!  Our 1st mailing was completed yesterday.  And we have started our 2nd mailing.

Next month is our Birthday Month Heads At Ease will be 8 years Old. woooohooo. What a great thing 8 years and 68,228 pillowcase later and we are still going strong. Thank You Jesus!!!!

Has anyone gone to the post office to get the new custom forms?

today I heard from NJ and OH that their local PO doesn't have them nor  have them hear about it.  I have my local PO on the phone and they don't have them either!!!!

I did call the main number and have an investigation started.

YIKES!!!

WAve 1 scheduled for next week will be delayed until I can get an answer to my questions!

Thanks for chiming in!  Another state that isn't aware!  The change was to take place on June 3rd.  The problem is the PO workers don't know and don't have the forms.  Another gal posted in a group that boxes using the 2976-A form would be returned.  

The main PO customer service are vague on that.  Vague doesn't work in  my world when we are talking $$.  So I have them start an investigation on this.  We are putting our wave mailing for this week on hold until I hear back from the "bigwigs".

I am holding them accountable for $$ if our boxes are returned.  I want it in writing.

I will keep you posted.

And Happy Birthday Heads at Ease.  I consider the 4th of July as HAE's official birthdate.  

 It was 8 years ago that I made and sent patriotic pillowcases to my son and his rack buddies on the Lincoln.  

I told them to celebrate their birthdays with the country's birthday.

 But I did make and mail the pcs in June so we celebrate that too.  

we are mailing wave 3 this week.

I have started back to work!  The before and after school program opens on Monday.  All 4 schools will be at my school so have been busy this week getting the site set up.

Monday, I start my school year at 6:30 am.

Wave 4 for the USS Wasp is complete. We mailed 430 pillowcases this time. The 5th wave and hopefully the last one is 8-8 thru 8-11.
If you have or can get pillowcases made by then, please let me know.

We just finished the USS Wasp today.  I was the last mailer.
