Ladies, I just got done with my prayer time and I prayed specifically for the ones at battlestation right now. They'll do well, I hope your calls come quickly.

Wishing you all whose loved one has Battlestations tonight the very best. Hope you get more sleep than I did.

Thank you everyone who prayed and thought of our kids last night. That means so much. I will be sure to pray for yours as well. Yes, now we wait for calls.....

This waiting is torture!!

I have so much to do today since we're leaving tomorrow and all I really want to do is sit by the phone! I can't wait to hear his voice!

Do our Sailors get to call today for sure? I've heard it's sometimes a day or two before we hear anything. Not THAT will drive me nuts! Back to the cell phone bra again. LOL.

That's exactly how I feel. Knowing they're done, I just keep thinking, What are they waiting for?!?? They probably can't wait to call either!

yes, this must be our BC, I keep checking the clock and my phone and can't hardly concentrate on anything. One more meeting to go @ 2:30 and that's when she will probably call. Haven't eaten all day, hard to get food down when your heart is in your throat.

and what makes matters worse, the calls that come in asking if we've heard anything yet... makes me jump every time..

First one that gets a call better post on here ASAP!

There is a post on Navy for Dads by Officer Sean M. stating that your recruits just had their capping ceremony and they are officially SAILORS. He believes everyone passed Battle Stations. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL

Is there a sponsor for 927? Congrat on 191 having pictures on Navy4dad's site. It was good to see what they did. Wish there was some from my son's division, but just seeing the recurits was heart warming.

Hi Gloria, I actually did know that but am not thinking straight. all I know right now is I can't "will" that phone to ring any stronger than I am.

Sigh...........just have to sit and wait more.... I think when it finally does ring I'll jump a foot off this chair. LOL

When does 192 get pizza parties and Taco Bell? Well, this weekend it's his pick on where he wants to eat. He gets anything his heart desires. It's been too long since I've been able to spoil him. LOL

they have an hour total. Rob's voice was hoarse too..from last nites chanting. They won a flag for their chant...

Savannah's a sailor!!!! Long phone call, so pumped, can't wait till Friday, so proud of her division.

Yay! I just got off the phone with him! An hour and 5 minutes. That was amazing.

Jess is a SAILOR. Got my call at 2:51 while I was work. I cant post at work but It was a great call. She called her recruiter, her best friend, her stepdad, and then called me back. She still had time on her phone card and the NEX was closed so she couldn't get her candy, but when she was talking to me, someone threw her some reese cups and she was so grateful. She sounded great and can't wait to see us on Friday.

Traci....FYI Jess knows Perry. She said he is very nice and he showed her pictures of you. Said he told her how wonderful, caring and beautiful you are and that he loves you very much. She said that are very pretty from your picture and she hopes to get to meet you at PIR.

Awww Jess's Mom too cute!! He's so great. I'm glad he's getting to talk to people and make friends. He tends to be a quiet wallflower. I'm definitely the outgoing one in the relationship! It's so great to know that all of our Sailors are getting to know each other! Makes me happy.
Perry said that everybody passed. So for any of you that haven't gotten phone calls yet, no news really is good news! When we were saying our goodbyes I could hear the RDC in the background yelling for them to get up that it was time to go. Some of them had fallen asleep. They were all so tired! Perry was falling asleep mid conversation. Poor guy! I hope everyone gets a phone call. I'm so ready to be up there now, I can't wait to leave tomorrow!!!

Maggie, hang in there. Remember 2 divisions did BS and that would be around 150 to 160 recruits (oh, I mean Sailors). Jess said some of them went to the NEX before they stopped selling candy and then got in line for the phones. She said that she missed getting candy but while we were talking, someone threw her some Reese Cups. She will call soon.

Yeah, Perry mentioned a third division as well I think. An 8 or 900 division? I can't remember what he said. So don't lose heart, I know the waiting is agonizing, but the calls will come!

Congratulations to all that have gotten calls and to those who haven't hang in there. We had one mom last week in our division that didn't get a call till the next day. It's so exciting they are all sailors now.

Wow...3 divisions. Recalculate the number of Sailors waiting to call makes it closer to 220 to 240.
