OMG!!!! I'm ear to ear with smile!!! Just got off phone with my SAILOR!!!! He sounded really happy (and sick). Sooooo good to finally hear from him! Been a long time since his ship date! Very excited to see him on Friday!

I need to know how long they are allowed to talk. I have to tell my son some bad news. I was told earlier that after battlestations they could possibly have access to a computer. I don't want my son to find out on facebook about a death in our extended family online. I need to know how long I will have to break this to him.

Looks like he had about 30 minutes. Called at 1:49 and they just got called to leave the NEX a couple of minutes ago. So sorry you have to break bad news, my thoughts will be with you.

I had to let my Sailor go before time was up so he could try to call hubby's cell... he really wanted to talk to him today, too. I think I only talked about 15 mins. Hubby's lucky I love him!

GOT THE CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I'm SO happy and PROUD of all of our SAILORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son said his RDC was messing with him about my name on N4M's! Good thing he's not embarrassed - he just laughed when he found out my name... well, it does fit!! I do wear a pink motorcycle helmet!

Has anyone gotten a call from 948 yet? My son is ship 02 div 948. I'm just sick with worry about getting on that plane tomorrow and not hearing from him. Congrats to all you who have heard from your sailors!!!

My son is Div 948. No call from him yet, either. This is a long day....

Congrats on all the new sailors!!!! Glad everyone is getting calls! I'm sure my boyfriend is super nervous and I'm so excited and happy for him! Can't wait to get a phone call myself tomorrow! Will be a very happy and exciting time for him. Wish I was going to be at graduation but his family will be there to support him! I'm ready for him to have his cell phone and call me already!

I got my call and I'm heading out now...I wish I could talk more! My son sounded great, tired by great! It feels so strange to have a long phone conversation with him! I cannot wait to give my son a big hug and meet you all. I'm really going to have to clean out my email when I get back!!

I talked to my Andrew for a good 45 minutes and he sounded good but exhausted. He said he has been up for the last 48 hours and because a few of them fell asleep they can only stand around now. He has duty tonight so he'll be lucky to get a full eight hours of sleep. I told him about all the terrific moms who kept us posted on what was going on and that I knew he would be calling me today either way. We'll be flying out tomorrow afternoon and look forward to seeing everyone from the great state of Texas! Andrew said lots of sailors are from here.

Krista passed her run and returned to her division and will be doing battlestations Yay!!! Thanks for all the prayers and support. I will have my candle lit for of our guys and girls tonight!

I've been a wreck all day and its only getting worse...no sleep tonite! Candles ready!!!!

oh my gosh i'm soooo nervous for them all! since his division is supposed to be recognized at graduation as being one of the best, im sure they'll be great (: GO DIVISION 347!

My "candle" is a blue party light installed in one of those banker's lamps with a green shade, makes an interesting turquoise color together, but the thought's what counts, right? Go 347, show 'em what you've learned and make your RDCs proud tonight!
