Thanks ladies for the prayers!!! My husband passed and got a 93!  So proud of my J.  Only a few more weeks and he will graduate A school!  So proud of him!  Hope all you ladies are doing well!

Things are well here... nothing much to report, just having fun keeping up with everyone's guys.  Ready for the next school to start.  Have a great day everyone.

No news yet on classing up.  So glad for the good test results!  Congratulations!  Hope everyone has safe travels.

NavywifeApril, Congrats to J.  So happy for you and J. I know it is a huge relief.  Will he have other comprehensive after this one/ Test 14?

Rmom, So glad you are going to graduation.  Hope I can somehow manage to go to T's, so hard when you really don't know anything til last minute. 

NavymomGG, Hope C doesn't have to wait too long til he starts FRAC, but maybe he needs a little rest.  Crazy but T enjoyed the rest and time to work out he got waiting to class up.

Lydia, You are so sweet to remember everybody, really my memory is not that good. Glad you have a N4M person close to you.

NavywifeApril...Yay YaY YaY !!! Congrats to both of you...so happy for you to have that over with...he'll have 3 more tests but that is the biggest one...will keep the prayers going...

Lydia...that was impressive...lol..I'm lucky I can keep track of my own updates...

Roxanne...he is enjoying the break too...he's being productive and for now he is ok with the in between time...it's really the first time he is getting to familiarize himself with being in a new state on a different coast...he finally has time to adapt and get his bearings...he sounds good...(I'm enjoying the time off too..it's been too intense for too long...whew...I  need to recharge also..lol..lol)

Thanks everyone!  Yes he will have 3 more test and then will graduate the first part of March!  So hopefully we will get orders for FRAC in the next couple weeks!

OMG! Finished with SERE what an experience that was for him!!! Now I have a good case of the shingles!!!!!

sweetpea...  see I knew he would be GREAT...  they do do a lot of reflecting afterward for several days my son said.. but they all seem to come away with a greater sense of what it means to serve in our GREAT Navy!  anyhooo kewl  all is well....  shingles...  OMG are you serious????????

Hey lookie here... who is this wonderful man???  Well, he looks just exactly like his momma so must be the Bman...  all the photos he promised me I got... not one of them with him getting his handshake and certificate..  BUT he tried and I love him so much for that!!!   Besides...  this photo is worth 1000 pictures in the world to me.. cause this is sooooooooo my B man!!!   Sorry Gabby... no new ones.. other than this one... but hey we still got to see em all!!!!

Yep, I guess I have underestimated the stress in my life! Maybe time to make some major life changes!!

sweetpea....soooo happy and relieved for you...I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well though...uuuggghhh...the whole SERE thing is so terribly stressful for us worrying for our precious loved ones...it's been a couple of weeks now and I finally feel like it is behind us...you can now relax while he is on hold...yay for both of you !!!

Lydia....my goodness, he is glowing !! He is just precious...Oh I am just so happy for you, for B and for all those who love and care about him...he is a beautiful man...inside and out....xoxoxo

sweetpea... funny you should say that.. (not funny but you know what I mean) cause last year at this time.. after B had just graduated from RSS and was in A-school... I honestly came close to a nervous break down... I had a job a GOOD job but it was a 4 hour commute each day with 9 hour work days... that plus the RSS stress.. nearly took me down... so I quit my job and learned to just relax.. Im not saying everyone can do that... but Im saying that major changes to relieve stress are sooo necessary for us women... YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! perhaps that is what Im trying to say!!!! {{{HUGS}}} to you my sister!
gabbyhat --- AWESOME - B said that the ceremony was so fast and that their backs were to the people that were there that no one could really get any real good ones so perhaps your friend got some!!!! I soooo sorry for C not getting his choice of duty station.. can he take leave like my B man is going to do in a month or two he said... and then marry and she can move back to SD to be with him?? Sweetpea's son and dil moved there perhaps she can lend you some advice for them... as far as housing if they decide to go on... I hope they do!!!! Hey ill see you next weekend sister... I holler at you or you at me okay!!! YEA I hve a Navy sister close to where I live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NavyMomGG - thank you my friend...!!!  he is my boy and I love and miss him terribly...  I know we all can relate to that feeling!!!!!!   after all we are mommas, wives and girl friends!!!!!  how is your boy adjusting to his new diggs????

Lydia-love the pic.  I haven't gotten any pics of my son's graduation yet.  There were people there taking pics, but he didn't know who was taking them.  He is so funny...when I told him that I was sad because I didn't have any pics of his graduation, he said, you do, I just gotta ask around and find them.  All in my perspective, huh? 

Just an FYI:  Someone at our church just had shingles and said it was the most miserable thing he has ever had.  He suggested that everyone get the shingles shot if they are over 50.  (Not sure why you need to be over 50.)  Maybe all of you know about this already - but thought I'd mention it just in case.

jbmom - All I know about shingles is if you never had chicken pox as a child then you are a shoe in for them...  I have a friend who had them in a HORRIBLE location on her body... I just think Id shoot my self... I think Ill google that shot!!!!  I did have CP when I was a child.. (or perhaps it is measels...???)  cant remember..  good advice sister!!!!

Lydia...he is getting more comfortable...he just moved to another building and it's much nicer...he loves the weather and is getting used to everything new...alot of really nice guys there which makes it easier to adapt...I'm so proud of him..xoxo

Ann1 - ummmm - Roxannes boy is at about the same times as your boy so Im sure they know each other...  sooooo sorry about the stress...  take overs are miserable... the company in Houston for which I USE to work was sold 3 times..  I finally quit... it was NOT good for me but It sounds like yours might be a good move for you!!!!

AIRR - woooow only 3 ..  well in Sierra there were 10 I believe it was...  small classes..  Im glad you got some pictures tho even if it was after!!!!

Ann1, Sorry, that sounds very stressful, think I would have lots of fever blisters if something like that happened to me.  Think we tried to figure out if our guys are in the same class, didn't your sons class lose some guys.  If it is any consultation my son is very quite right now too.  I think it is a very hard time for them, and they probably don't want to worry us.  Of course it only worry us even more when they don't at least text us just to let us know they are fine and still in school. 

Ann1...Good Luck with the transition...sending good wishes and prayers for a wonderful outcome and a time of relief from all the stress...

Roxanne...I remember not being sure what to do when things got quiet..I would stay quiet too but then I decided to text rather then call so I could at least get some kind of update..I told him I didn't want to be a pest but the "not knowing" was too difficult...he understood and seemed fine with our balance between calling and texting...he had no idea I was struggling with it...I told him I didn't need to know all the stressful details if he felt it was better not to share them but at the same time it is important to get them off your chest...I try to keep the lines of communication open and let him lead the conversation when I'm not sure where to "tread"...or I talk about "other stuff"... it is such an ongoing challenge to feel what we feel and try to manage all of our concerns for them...

OK so on that note...has anyone read this article and what do you think of it? I for one am pretty concerned although they only mention the army, I can't imagine that is the total sum of it...here I am hoping that it will all miraculously change so we don't have to worry about our sailors going into the warzones and then I read this...uuuggghhhhh

Jajajo, My son is in A school Romeo with only a few weeks to go, thank God. I know he had a very long hold for NACCS, then another long hold for RSS.

My husband is leaving this Sunday to drive my back to California with my son.  We are planning to meet in So Cal for a couple days, go to dland, he can see his SD buddies, etc.  Then home for 2 weeks before he is off to his duty station.  It will be a whirlwind around my house for the next 3 weeks.

avasmooch....  Love the smilie girl!  cute... gonna have to borrow that...   I am so glad that he passed first two weeks... that is usually when they DOR and or fail.. and roll.!  So truly it gets much better now..  Harder but they start to really pull as a team and the instructors sort of start to like them a little hahahah

Im here with my boy and my daughter!  Gosh he is so tall, muscular and handsome!   He is happy he is done and he is ready to get active with his new Squadron...  he is ready to go over seas...  mommie is not ready for that ...  but it is part of his destiny and he is ready!  So we shall see!

Heard from hubby. He arrived safely and they are already underway.  They are going to North Carolina first to visit briefly with my husband's brother.  Initially that wasn't part of the plan, but found out about a week and a half ago that his brother has been diagnosed with stage 4 carcinoma.
