My husband and sailor are half way home.  Couple more days and I will be meeting up with them.  So excited!

Roxanne, so great..that's a tough one. Took R's class from 9 to 3 that week. Hope we get to meet T while we're there for grad. 

I know i haven't been on in a while but desperate plea for prayers,,,,,,, my son took test 14 along with Roxanne's son and missed it by 3 questions. He feels very defeated as do I, spent most of the day in prayer and fasting. But I know without a shadow of a doubt that our God is an Awesome God. So if you pray'in  momma's won't mind lifting him up tonight, I sure would appreciate it.

Lydia where in Miami did you grow up? My husband was born and raised there as well.

Roxanne- Congrats to T !!!!  He deserves it !!!!

Roxanne....My husband graduates March 2nd.  So he is only a week ahead of T and J.  And we got verbal orders for Mayport.  We are still waiting on the written orders.

NavyWifeApril, I know you are glad to be moving on.  Did you guys want Mayport?

Roxanne...yes we did!  I mean we would have been happy either way with San Diego or Mayport.  But we were super excited that he got Mayport b/c we will be east coast and closer to our families since they live in NC.  But in the future we would love to be stationed in Hawaii :)

NavywifeApril, I am happy for you two.  Is Mayport nice?  Have you been there?

T wants SD, but he will be fine either way.  Hawaii, would be very nice place to be stationed, expensive though. 

congrats to MommaB's son!!! Our son trained with HSM40 in Mayport and was there just about a year for FRS (Romeo). Mayport was very nice, as well a Jacksonville, we visited twice while he was there. Some great shopping nearby. We also made a trip to Savannah GA which was a great time! We know the training he got with the AirWolves HSM40 is THE BEST.

 Our son moved into the barracks in Coronado, San Diego last weekend....its so great to have him so close to home! So great to read about all the prayers going out to each others sailors. God bless you all....

hey yall... sorry .....  been here in FL with my kids...as yall know... but you might not know my hubby has been fighting cancer for 5 years... which is why we moved to TX... well all was good but now its back  ugggggggggg... such a long story... just really need prayers....Im heading home in the mid afternoon tomorrow...lots of storms and I hate flying hahaha..... go figure....  but love yall and yall know I pray for your kids each day!!!!  no matter where they are in this pipeline...  they are awesome...  I know each has his / her place......  Godspeed each one!

Back from Florida!  Good Momday morning yall!  thank you for the prayers!  Im sure they will work!!  AND thank YALL for YOUR inspiration !! 

Sounds like everone in here has great positive things going on with their Sailors..  very exciting stuff....  soon they will all be in the working mode and not training anymore.  B attaches formally to his BlackJacks tomorrow!  Today he is surfing...  man these kids love their toys...  !!!   Off to the grocery store !  HUGS everyone!

Lydia, so sorry to hear about your husband. Prayers for health and healing coming his way. Cancer is a terrible thing that has robbed to many loved ones. Lets find a cure!!!

AIRRmom86...My son is BH but his formal name is CWH, and he is with the BH Squadron in SD. They were all laughing cause there is really THREE CW's with the BH's! My son is loving it and everyone is getting along great. Hope I can meet your CW someday soon!!!!

Lydia-glad you had a great time with your kids.  Sorry to hear about your husband.  I know dealing with cancer is quite a fight and requires so much strength and support not only for the patient, but for the entire family.  Prayers for you and your husband. 

My husband and son didn't have any troubles going cross country and arrived in Anaheim safely.  We had a couple of fun days in Disneyland and now we are relaxing at home.  Looking forward to a couple of weeks with my sailor.

Lydia I'm so sorry to hear about your husband.  I am praying for you.  Hope the Lord will hold you especially close at this time and give the doctors wisdom and your husband strength and healing.

Thank you all!  I appreciate your thoughts and prayers as does hubby!  I lost my first husband to cancer when he was 43 and raised my three children on my own..  I just dont want to lose this one too!  With all the prayers going up Im sure the battle is already won!

HEY BTW.......     Im going to see Act of Valor with hubby (I hope) on Friday when it comes out....  are yall going to go see it????

Seeing Act of Valor is definately on the Agenda for us.  Not really my type of movie, but I am all for supporting our Navy in any way I can. 

Ok Lydia my head is spinning from all of that! LOL!! I can't keep up so please forgive me! DIL still searching for a job keep your fingers crossed. They love SD lots for them to do and they have friends from the past there. I am headed out in April. Can we name squadrons numbers on this site or is it best left unsaid?

That is great news Roxanne :)  I am glad that they got what they wanted!  Glad that J and T both get to stick together.

My husband graduates A school March 2nd and then we will be off to Mayport (Jacksonville FL)!  Only Sere and Frac left :)

Lex5 congrats he is doing well, week three was a hard week during rss. Yes, the can fail at any point during training. Every phase is challenging and crucial! We Mom's are prayer warriors!!! Always on edge!! Good luck through all of this!

HI Lex.... glad you checked in...  awesome that he classed up... what week is he in now??  Yes it is possible to fail A school but not very common..  there are some tough tests..  especially if he is Romeo...  just ask MamaB and Rox...  not saying that Sierra is a walk in the park but it is a shorter pipeline. 

NavymomGG - yes amazing how everyone is moving on along and getting great assignments!

mom2four - hopefully it wont be much longer..  wonder if he and Karsonsmamas boy know each other? 

Navywife -  I know you are going to be happy and make Navy wife friends there!
