what a crazy night we had went to a Seether concert and came home around 8 pm tried to got o bed figuring my son had school and my nieghbors decided to throw a party so we ended not being able to go to sleep till like 1 am this sucks no school for the boy

yea he was exhausted but he wanted to go to school so he was 3 hours late today but better late than being absent. But he had a blast at the concert last night so glad it didnt goon all night cause it was being held right behind my house.. kind of cool having seether in my backyard haha.

oh and that comment was posted at 11:20 am

from what i know only overseas has elementary and up on base.. my son went to prek in ga on base..

lol and that was at 5:50 pm saturday

bonnie- yay for moving!!! i'm moving with my hubs in a couple of weeks, soooo exciting!!

& @ katie- see if he would be able to make it home, and have it there, his parents requested that we wait until we're 21 but that didnt happen haha and i've read that its easier to get married in school because youll be on his orders and they'll move you with him instead of having to do everything yourself!

we are planning on renewing our vows since we didnt have a wedding.. we just did the justice of peace but it went so perfect that renewing our vows isn't really a big priority like it was before we got married.. but my mom wants me to have a "real" wedding :/

@ emily- a white wedding is a traditional wedding

Jennifer- OHHHHHH lol i feel dumb.

Kate -i had a white wedding with 4 months to plan, if you want a white wedding you WILL have one. I know with the navy, and military in general plans can change at any time.. i was scared to death the whole time they werent gunna let him come home, but try to plan it around a time he can take leave. but idk how it works when he gets to his first duty station.

kate- lmao yea we were wanting to wait till our 10 yr anni but its getting closer and closer haha in 3 yrs we will be married for 10 yrs..  we want to travel so we probably wont have a wedding just no time.:/  and like i said it isnt a priority my mom will just have to deal 

Navy adds restrictions for submariner pay

this is why my hubs obliserved so he would continue receiving his submarine pay while he was on"shore duty" but these restrictions are crazy :/

@ emilylane- i'm sorry things are starting off slow with making friends seems like you just moved there and just met the command wives but just give it time i am sure you will make friends..

@ashley swp- yes much boo to deployments but tis our lives haha

@ Kelsi- there is email access for all sailors they will set it up and he can email you whenerever he can

and homecomings wow in kingsbay ummn we never had a homecoming because of it being a boomer base but there were a couple times that a boat had a homecoming but it is rare.. if they do have 1 your hubs has to put you on the list to get information from the command ombudsman and frg.. you will need a background check after the background check you will be able to get a pass from pass and id..

so far that is all i can remember but i'll ask my hubs more when he gets home..

I'm sorry but that info is wrong the sailor has to route a special request chit up through his command, there are wives who don't have access to the FRG and Ombudsman the way we get access is the sailor puts us on the roster for us to have access. so the same goes for g/fs, fiances, or any other family.

if the sailor does not put us on the roster we to will be cut out of any information

lol yes i was fixen to add that i had to walk my pups.. it does vary from command to command but it is up to the sailor to put in them chits if they want their spouse, fiance, or g/f to have access to the FRG or ombudsman.. and true it is more likely that a spouse will be added and a g/f or fiance will not that is only cause the command doesnt just want anybody to have info so they might put some restrictions on what they can know or they might just say yea ummn no   

what do you mean by taking chance? just curious, cause the last time i checked i was a civilian and if i am not doing anything illegal or being" bad" then i'm kosher.. not saying fraternization isn't in the sub community it is still there but when they are out of uniform rank is usually ignored.. but you can have 1 higher up who will frown on it :/ but he is just a fubby dub lol

I received my first email from my husband @ OCS. He was assigned Lead Drill Guide.. He's in charge of drill! I'm so proud!!
