Seriously, my son is at GL right now finishing up ATT classes next week. He will stay in GL for A School (ET) and C School, from there who knows.

Ellen, been there done that. Your son gets to experience the Lake Michigan winter! Fun! Tell him to study hard. Very competitive A School.

He got some winter stuff thrown at him since he arrived in Feb, and he did say not much different from home at that point.

He hasn't had to deal with the lake effect yet, but he has dealt with a lot of stalled and backed up storms here next to the mountains. He has never really been fond of shaking snow off trees from 2-5am in the cold and blowing snow.

The class he is in is getting pushed to finished earlier (next week) than the rest from the way it sounds. Not being ahead by three days is behind right now.

They have had five or six no school days for this class, holidays, school "something something" days, a base PIR etc. those days were still counted as school days for this class (no school though), and last Friday was another something something no school day, so...

He texted today "bleh, bleh, bleh, I am so tired of being behind three days ahead this week, glad when this class is over next week. Back to the computer bank with a couple others to finish up.".

He is enjoying it though and as one of the older ones (26), going back to school has been a learning experience of it's own for him.

My son was not fond of ATT classes. It gets better.

Woo-hoo. Done with ATT as of early this afternoon. Now back to polishing up his janitorial skills.

The Bill Cosby routine is one that I have laughed over many times.  My former husband actually tried to pull off the whole chocolate cake thing as being healthy for breakfast!

How about cold pizza and diet soda?

FTLW...yea...couldn't make a good case for it because of the sugar content. If you think about it...pizza dough is made from flour, egg and yeast.  And then depending what you put on it, it could be a complete meal with something from each of the food groups. The diet soda I cannot make a case for...unless you need your daily dose of Splenda or something. 

Have I ever had chocolate cake or cold pizza for breakfast? Uhm....I take the fifth!
