Dads on Moms.....com

Okay...GOOD DAY!! Both Oregon teams won (you think maybe that was an upset that Oregon State beat Wisconsin???) or are winning. And then my Trojans sure looked good although...a little more defense! Syracuse rattled off a couple of back to back touchdowns. 

Tore a ligament in my foot doing Yoga and now in a walking boot...6 weeks which means I will be going to the Devil Doc graduation in a walking boot.  Anybody got any ideas (yes Dads you too!) on how I can make this look good??

Yeah...might as well have shot myself in the foot.  Woulda healed faster.  Ligaments take forever.

Any of you Dads who have played sports and injured yourself...I would appreciate any information on what worked for you.

Hang in there, everyone especially those w sons/daughters going thru a rough patch. We have all been there.  They save their "vents" for mom and dad. We say positive, supportive things to them (because it's absolutely imperative that we do) then we go into the bathroom and throw up because we get so concerned and racked with worry.  Ahhhhh life as a parent. No one told it was this hard.

BunkerQB...you got that right.  Did anyone get an Owner's Manual when their kids were born? I kept looking for one but couldn't find it.

I believe the Trojans were around long before someone chose to name condoms after them.  ie:Greek Mythology.

I have never heard of such things. I believe you are creating a Trojan Horse in order to hide the truth.

I have been incommunicado because I have been in mourning. Trojans take their football seriously. My husband has been very, very careful. He knows if he gloats at all, he will be de_____  (supply the word you think appropriate).

He was attending Stanford at that time. The administration wanted a new team mascot and name. The students wanted Robber Barons. It was voted down.

They would have been the Red Barons. Not such a good mascot.

Jack...that woulda been cool.  It was a busy few days, needless to say. We did get to walk around the waterfront and see the Midway.  I really couldn't tour it because I am still in a walking boot from a Yoga injury.  We also walked around Old Town and had some great food. I may be down there again so I will let y'all know sooner!!!

Jack...if only it had been the yogurt....which the cat would've eaten since he thinks he's a dog and eats anything that falls on the floor.  It happened somewhere between the transition of  "downward facing dog" and "crescent lunge".  I was supposedly doing something good and healthy.  Yoga...right.
