I'm with Mary, thanks Coco. I am NOT a big city person but really enjoyed last nite. thanks Michelle for talking me into going!!! :) Glad to see everyone and catch up. Missed all who couldn't make it next ime....Hope all made it home ok and waiting for Sally to post that delicious receipe!!

We are a gorgeous group of women aren't we!  Thank you all for coming out last night and for bringing so much Navy Mom fun, food and drinks.  You guys all made the evening soooo much fun.   And I am still full!  LOL.

I am going to send these photos to parents.  They will be glad to see we all had a good time.  On a funny note (sadly) I finished cleaning stuff and packing all my stuff and sat down to relax...as I walked towards the couch I opened a diet pepsi and lol...it exploded all over the carpet.  Sigh.

Darn, I hate it when I miss a good time!!!!!!

No I did not know anything about MommaMT either.  Crazy people on here sometimes.

Yes Becky we are good crazy but some are crazy, crazy.  This women does she pretend to sell pictures for  a good price and then you get nothing and you sent her money, is that the deal?  I wonder how she got on this site?

Michelle I will look into a few places last year was fun but so loud, but I guess that is how they are all going to be.  What about a bus tour, I know some girls were on that last year remember!!! LOL

Michelle, maybe he will go to Italy and we will get the boys together. LOL  Well like you we sit and wait to see where they are going.  I am just glad Stephen likes Italy.  That darn Navy!!!

Michelle he is going SEAL...is very smart and his older brother  who has been in the navy 10 years is a LT. serving in the sandbox now. He was honor grad at PIR. Not so worried about him not doing well,

I just worry for him that he doesn't get hurt during boot camp. Mary can't wait to the pics of Dan , next time we see you. Sorry Debbie...Adam is going to the "L" place as Michelle calls it so her and I can road trip together!!! LOL

Becky that is so wonderful a Seal, it is very hard to pass that.  Stephen friend Steve went into the seals and had a cold and missed part of a test by 2 minutes and he is no longer a seal, but he is still in the Navy and loving it, so I wish him a lot of luck.  I know Steve had to be in good shape before they took him, he signed up and did the excercise and eating what they told him and about 4 months later they too him in. 

Well the L place is a great place  to be, they are so many wonder places to visit and guess what I got to go to the L place and it was wonderful and I went to the P place and the R place. LOL  Who know where Stephen is going next, I don't think the Navy knows. 

I don't think any of our kids to the same job in the Navy, that is why I love hearing about the your sailors, it is so interesting!

OH he did, who is taking over???

Today is not going to be a good day for me after work Paul and I are taking Shawna to the vets, if she cannot help her we are going to have to put her down.  She will be 15 in April.

 

Sorry Julie I have alot on my plate this week. 

 

So my sailor called Friday and he and his training group got some type of special accomodationaward on Friday.  I didn't fully understand but he said they were taken completely surprised, still in their training gear and both the Navy Master Chief and Marine Master Chief were there.  He said it will be in the Navy paper next Friday so if I find it I will share.  He was pretty proud of himself it was nice to hear him so happy. 

 

Michelle - you know this means we need a road (plane) trip out there this spring!  Maybe then they will finally meet.  LOL.

 

Debbie - that just stinks on Valentines Day...15 years...you have been very lucky to have Shawna around for so long.

Oh Debbie--my heart goes out to you.  I used to work in a vet's office, and some days were just so hard.  I was also the resident pet grief person.

Julie, she went to sleep in my arms so I know she was at peace with me and Paul being there, it will take time, but time will heal (I hope).

Mary, Get well soon. You have to be healthy to get that bum knee fixed! My mom just scheduled her knee replacement for Mar. 15. so I'm relying on you for feedback for her!!!! LOL!! Hope you feel better soon, sweets!

Cathy how cool is that, hoped they passed inspection with flying colors. Where is Paula #2 hope you ok. Sally we all still waiting for you receipe. I got a really nice e-mail from Jason today. He forwarded it to me from his MMCO. It was a video that was a news clip from North Island 100 years of Naval flight. It featured a blurp about his squadron and the MMCO thanked them for their dedacation and hard work that they do everyday. It made my day!!! :) Hope all is well with everyone I have missed.

Thanks Julie I did think of you.  I have told Stephen but not Samantha, I thought I would wait until she comes home one  weekend.

Sorry I am a little behind on everything that was said below, I need the cliff notes.

HI ladies!

OH I've been so busy--but Halee update! 

 

Halee has been moved to the Separation Unit... She is walking without any crutches now--but needs continued therapy and once discharged--she can re-enlist after one year.

 

We still have to follow up on her GI issues--it is not her gallbladder--she appears to have a cholecocal cyst --which could be precancerous.  She will be following up at home on this.

 

She can call daily and her spirits are good.  She's already applied for a summer position & signing up for college in the fall.  She only needs two years to finish with a degree--so maybe she'll be reenlisting down the road for officer school!  Only time will tell!--I'll update again once I get her home! 

 

Thanks again for all your prayers!  (Victoria is still in the RCU and also off her crutches)

Pat good luck to your mom on the knee replacement, my mom had one several years ago and it works great.  I will keep her in my prays and thoughts.
