I am really upset!!!!!!! you all know I had neck surg. It took 8hr instead of 2hr and I feel the were in a rush and used staples instead of sutures.
This is why I went in 2 weeks ago the said my incision was infected I went on antibiotics and they took the staples out the incision opened a bit, my suture line looks worse than Frankinsteine so now I am going back into Northwestern Friday so they can reopen my neck clean it out cut away the screwed up skin and sew it this time then stay in until Sat afternoon on IV antibiotics!!!
I was just getting back out and started having a life although by 3pm I was so weak I was in bed which he thinks is the infection but I am mad upset and you know me crying. I want my life back it has been 7 yrs since I started with this chronic pain. I was so ready for a manni-Pedi, and a full head of high lights this week!!!!! LOL I feel like I am going backward. Paula S--I've been on three Honor Flights and been there for more send-offs and welcome homes in Moline. There have been 15 flights out of here since Nov. 08. It's an honor to be involved!

Navy Week is falling into place here. My June schedule is crazy. I'm leaving for American Legion Auxiliary Junior Camp on Saturday with my older granddaughter. Back in time for a few Navy Week events, then Girls State for a week. I'll rest in July!

Hi everyone, Have to type fast as my modem is dying (comcast replacing it tomorrow). Just got a phone call from a faraway place and my sailor is coming home!!!!!!! Boat had a breakdown so homecoming has been delayed and then the possibility that all leaves would be cancelled, talk about a roller-coaster!!! Now we are back on track, ticket purchased and have a date for his arrival!!!! One happy momma here!!!!!

This weekend I was able to close a chapter in the saga since the kids were attacked. Jas finished all her under grad work and graduated from University of Chicago! All she has is left one more year in the grad program at U of C. My parents and I threw her a party Saturday night. I feel like such a weight has been lifted in our house!

Hi, back from Door County, had a nice time but the weather was not so great. Did a lot of yard work over the weekend having a party for Samantha on the 9th, hope the weather is good. I guess I am way behind did you ladies get together and did you have fun??? Michelle the weather has been so bad lately I don't think we are going to have a good summer. Leaving Friday for MI, my sister and husband are coming up for the 4th of July so that should be fun hopefully we will see some sun they want to kayak. Hi Julie, sounds like you are busy and doing great, glad to hear that. Becky you are getting water too and no power that is no fun. Paul went to MI last week and came home early witha all the rain and he had lost power several times. Oh Julie I will have to watch later I hate to cry and I have to go to the dentist so I will watch it when I come back.

I was trying very hard to avoid this b-day but social media does not allow for that and now I have managed to completely overbook myself this weekend. I am going to have to pass on the concert tonight because I did not think through travel time from Chicago, etc. I am really sorry and hope you all enjoy tonight! Yeah for all of our visits! My son called yesterday and he is coming home for his 21st b-day at end of July.
