  • rootie

I got a call too! He sounded good, told me I didn't have to go to graduation since I'll only be with him for the day. Ha! There's no way I would miss it. Keep your phones close families of Ship 12 Div 323, praying you all get calls as well!
  • SouthShoreMom

Got a call from my daughter!! Div 317. Only got to talk 7minutes! But they were the best 7 minutes of my whole week! :). She sounded tired but otherwise seemed ok.
  • diannep

    Congrats on the calls today!

  • Anita5JS5

The meet and greet RSVP page is beautiful! Seeing our PIR date near the top of the list made me very happy.  Seeing dates listed 8 weeks after ours made me grateful for how far we have come! That first week was awful! Have a great week everyone.

  • Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons

It is possible to be here and on facebook. When joining facebook PIR groups just be careful which group you join. There are so many copycat groups and some are not obeying OPSEC and PERSEC. Some make you become friends with an admin in order to join. If you need the link for the original PIR group that has been around for several years let me know. No matter where you are online always obey OPSEC and PERSEC and done ever post ship or sailor movement. :)

  • diannep

Sure wish that all of you who want to go to the FB groups will stay on these groups here too!  We miss you!  It would benefit all if we share info back and forth!

    Good Afternoon!

  • Navygirlsmom

Glad you ladies are still here!  :-)

Auntie:  To request a friend, click on her pik or screen name here on this page.  That takes your to her private page.  Click on the Add a Friend option (on left of her page).  A message will be sent to her.  Once she accepts it, you will see her picture listed on your private page (MY PAGE tab up top) under the FRIENDS section on the left of the page.

If that new friend emails you, you will see a notation of this next to the word INBOX at the top left of your MY PAGE.  Just click on that notation or your INBOX and you will be there.  Click on the subject line of the email to read it!  Easier to do than it sounds!

  • CatMom509

Hi, still here, worked the past 3 days, 12 hour + shifts, and on Sunday, traveled to Philadephia to see my BF son and family. Enjoyed catching up with all of the news about your SR's.
  • diannep

    Good Morning!

  • Lynnie78

Still here! Back to school for kids, helping my dad, and working 40 plus hours! Have to keep up with my house sometimes too! Got a third letter yesterday :-) feel like we have talked more than when he was at home! I have now sent three letters this week plus one from his 7 year old sister. It's amazing what you have to say when you can't just say it. Finalizing plans for PIR and ordered ribbons. Now to decorate sign for our door.
He says he did great on first PFA. Now studying for test... very proud momma
  • diannep

Lynnie:  It is amazing how much they learn to appreciate what they have when they have it all taken from them at Bootcamp!  My son had told me before he left for Bootcamp in Nov 2009 that he would not be writing, he didn't like to write (only a text type of guy)....but he would call when he could.  I got 5 letters from him after that....all asking to please write often!  HA!  Who knew???  So enjoy this!

    Good Morning All !

  • Navygirlsmom

Received another letter today! She's doing great, division 317 isn't really getting yelled at anymore. She's loving it now.
Her closest friends in division 317 are Maddie, Peige, Carissa and Viviad. Anyone recognize these as your girls?

  • QBmom

Just want to introduce myself! Pray everyone is having a blessed day!

  • QBmom

I missed my daughter calls on Sunday! I wasn't expecting a call, I prayed  that all was well!
