Shipped out yesterday
So today's the first full day without my daughter here. It's rough. I miss her so much! I cry alot, trying to stay busy. I got the very scripted call late last night. How do all of you get through this?

my son left two weeks ago and i cant go into his room. he is the youngest so we are also empty nesters. iyesterday was the first day i was home alone. i cried, but i know this is what he wants and that makes me feel proud. and like donna said, wrtie letters. between writing letters and being on this web site helps me to feel a bit closer. good luck to you. you will become navy strong! also if you see my icon, i think a each day that goes by,the light get a little brighter!

My son shipped yesterday August 13, 2019. It was hard and I also got the scripted call. I had to ask my mom how she dealt with it when I called because it was very different than what we have experience with my son. She told me she kept busy and worried also but mostly kept busy.
