Length of A school?

My fiancé is currently in boot camp, then shipping straight to PH for A school. He told me it was 6 months, but I just read something that said it was only 12 weeks. Does anybody who has been through this know how long the A school actually is?

    Depending on when he gets to A school he may be placed on Hold until they have a class for him.  Between BC and A school you should not expect to see him for about 6 months.  Sometimes it ends up being less for A school but sometimes it is longer.  They may also have added combat training to his A school estimate.
