Hello all, I new to the group. My son just started in Pensacola a few weeks ago, CTN. Any general info about the area and or anything lose would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Welcome! My son completed his CTN in July 2016. Be prepared to continue to support. It’s a difficult and challenging rate. He worked hard and we are so proud of his accomplishments. I know there were several modules (can’t remember if that’s the right term) that were more difficult than others. I recommend reading through past posts if you’re interested in that detail. Cheers to your son and thank him for serving our country. And to you for supporting him— he will need it!

Welcome to the world of CTN. This school, JCAC, is located at Corry Station which is separate from the main Pensacola base. They are in their own private little world. General information about the area might be helpful, but your Sailor's experience will be different than the other rates. He will be your best source of information, along with other families of CTNs.

my question is, my son should graduate CTN school in November. I need as much notice as possible to ask off from work. Does anyone know what days of the week the ceremony will happen?
any info is greatly appreciated, thanks!
