DEP-Leavin' for bootcamp in August
This group is for N4M members that have a loved one leaving for bootcamp in August...I will leave the year open so that even future Deppers leaving in the month of August of any year can join...Lets share stories, information, concerns, and questions
Leaving Tomorrow Aug. 29th
Good evening,
So tomorrow will most likely be one of the hardest days in my life. My son leaves to start his new journey and I have been holding it together while he is still home but I am sure the flood gates will open once he is gone. I am so proud but so nervous for him as well. I appreciate that this site is available and I will definitely be asking questions and just looking for support. Thank you to everyone in advance for all the information, advice and empathy as I too begin a new journey.

Mine left yesterday, too....I know EXACTLY how you are feeling. I've already read tons of wonderful and useful information on this site. I don't come from a military family, so this is a whole new world for me. At the moment, I'm feeling somewhat relieved that my son is most likely finally getting some sleep right now!

Mine left the 30th. So I totally understand as well. I woke up this morning thinking, this is definitely going to hard. However, I just joined this site yesterday and am so thankful for it already! I look forward to this journey. And cannot wait to see how our recruit comes out on the other side.
