Hi - my son went to BC on 12/6 and I just got a call from him that he's being sent home. He said it had something to do with legal issues? Last January he got an MIP. When he enlisted he was on probation, so we went to the court to have it dismissed and we 'think' that went fine. He said something about the timing of the paperwork. I have a couple of questions - they said he could reenlist in 6 months - will they take him back? While there he had ranked up and would be performing w/a sword or something at graduation - was in charge of 80 recruits. Also, how long will it take for him to come home? He's broken-hearted.

More info since my last post - He called and said they found something in his system - thinking it's a masking agent - but not marijuana or anything. He's done extremely well outside of this. He says his superiors told him they were advocating for him. Is there any possibility that they will let him stay and give him another shot?
