I couldn't stop thinking about the tragic deaths of the three Pensacola aviators in December. My DS had trained there and had only left for a new assignment the week before. I remembered how excited he was to begin his training in Pensacola, and I knew the slain airmen must have had similar high hopes. It was crushing to think that their lives ended so senselessly.
The families of Ensign Joshua Watson, Airman Mohamed Haitham and Airman Cameron Walters will be honored in Pensacola in March. I thought it might help them to receive cards of support from their Navy family. Condolence cards sent to the base will be given to the families when they arrive.They should be mailed by March 1 to this address:
