Hi All!

I am new to this board with a son in his first week of boot camp! He has an aircrewman rating, hoping to one day become a pilot! My question is in regard to the physicals. Do they receive a flight physical at P-Week in boot camp and does anyone have any familiarity with med waivers? I have heard horror stories about recruits going to RTC with an approved med waiver and RTC medical overturning them! Also, will he need a whole new waiver for NAMI? Without going into too much detail, his is from a short cardiac issue a couple of years ago.
