A group for those who knit or crochet that would like to blanket our sailors with a touch of home. Our goal is to blanket the entire Navy.

question about quilts

My question is - 

 

 Some ladies in our church want to  quilt prayer quilts  ,is there a certain color or certain size it has to be? Would this be in the same area as the listingings of qulits or blankets that are needed because you do have to sew some of these.

I know with him being in the Seacadet Program that most of the colors for summer trainings are blue, black, grey.

 

We would like to send some out to other men and women as well.

 

Is there a way to find out more info. about this?

    I found the sizes but I am not sure about the colors - what would be the betters colors to use- does anyone have a idea? Thanks

    I was reading about the scarfs that were sent last DEC. 1 for the troops, that was wonderful. Are you going to be doing that again this year also?

      There are both males and females onboard the ships nowdays, except for the submarines. I feel that whatever colors you like are good. Do what makes you happy...
