My son called yesterday....about 4:45ish and talked for 10 minutes.
Said he passed the 2nd test, very up beat and passed his fire arm test...scored a 203...
Was happy since he has never fired a gun.
He sounded very tired....but with 18 days to go....so much going on Time is Flying!!!!
I did ask about his Liberty ???
He said at this time for him ... he will be with us follow Graduation till 8:00 pm
Saturday from 10:00am till 8:00 pm and Sunday 10:00am-8:00pm.
Leaving for Pensacola Monday. (need to extend our reservations that’s a Good thing!!!)
He was talking of a fellow sailor who family wasn’t gong to make it for PIR…So asked if
He could join us Friday…..He still has that Good Loving Heart!!!!
Now we need to find a Good Steak House!!!!!!

My brother, same ship and division, got to call my mom earlier and talk for about 15 minutes. He said they did so good last week earning 3 flags that they got junk food, sodas and telephones....was a good day!

Got a call from my Daughter Kristin on Saturday - talked for 44 minutes!!!
